Volunteer your time and skills – Welcome House is on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to support our staff across a range of community projects, initiatives and events to help asylum seekers and refugees. (Attach Volunteer Form)
For any enquiries, E-mail Volunteer Coordinator: email@example.com
We will try and help you to find the role and project work that best suits your knowledge, experience, interests, gifts and skills.
In exchange for your time and enthusiasm, we offer high-quality support and training, and the chance to make a real difference in someone’s life.
Due to the nature of our work, we ask that our volunteers are willing to commit to volunteering with us for at least four hours in a week.
Asylum seekers and refugees usually arrive with very few belongings. Many of them are also setting up a new home with limited income. Any household items such as white goods, furniture and clothes would make a huge difference.
There are so many ways your business or school can get involved and support our work.
Please feel free to contact us to discuss further. You can email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call Bashir on 07913 120198.
There are so many ways, you can raise funds for Welcome House, including selling tickets for a local event or one-off activities, such as quizzes, raffles, jumble sales, sports or music events, coffee mornings or cultural food events.
We welcome interest from students and open to applications if they are interested in coming to work at Welcome House.
Find out how you can give the greatest gift to asylum seekers and refugees by leaving a gift in your will and explore how we can support you to make a difference that lasts forever. Help us to be there for future generations of asylum seekers and refugees by leaving a gift in your will to Welcome House.
We can offer our supporters information on the best way to write or update your will for free, in a way that’s right for you.
Contact us about your legacy as leaving a gift in your will is an incredibly special and personal decision. You do not have to tell us that you have done so. However, if you would like to tell us that you’ve made a gift in your will, we would be delighted to hear from you. Alternatively, if you have any questions about leaving a gift in your will you can email: email@example.com or call Bashir on 07913 120198.
