
Martin Collingwood – Trustee Biography
Martin Collingwood is a solicitor and accredited mediator with 50 years of experience in construction law, dispute resolution, and major infrastructure projects. He has held senior legal roles at leading firms and worked on landmark projects such as the Great Belt Bridge (Denmark), River Tagus Crossing (Portugal), the Channel Tunnel and Heathrow Terminal 4. He has advised on mainstream energy products: oil, gas, nuclear and coal, as well as renewable energy, both on and offshore.
Martin is recognized for his expertise in contract negotiation, project structuring, and alternative dispute resolution. He is a member of the Society of Construction Law, and was a lecturer at the University of Lincoln for over 20 years.
Martin was a Trustee of Hull Samaritans for many years and is still an active volunteer. Martin brings a wealth of legal knowledge and a strong commitment to supporting charitable and community-focused organizations.
