Wednesday 22 April was a day about wellbeing for our staff and service users of Welcome House.
Our walking group visited Rooted in Hull where we helped water the vegetables, learned all about bees and made pizzas.Being in nature and growing food is enormously beneficial to mental and physical health. Rooted in Hull is a wonderful community garden with a welcoming, inclusive ethos. Volunteers are welcome there every Wednesday morning from 10 AM.

Meanwhile, a group of our staff attended the Wellbeing Fair at Hull College.
The event showcased various local wellbeing organisations and services to help students explore available support and learn practical techniques. Our representatives networked with other organisations and explained to students what Welcome House is all about.
